Abstract

Research AIM: The study explains the Effect of Stretching Resistance Method with excess flexibility indicator on estimate positions and Jerk effectiveness for youth Weightlifters at the national project of talented youth in Damietta.
Research Method: The researcher used the experimental method. The study was applied on (16) weightlifters who were chosen by purposive way aged between (15.875 ± 0.781) years. They were divided into two groups (experimental& control). Each group included (9) weightlifters. The experimental group underwent the Stretching Resistance Method training program while the controlled group underwent the traditional training program. Both training programs continued for (8 weeks) (3 units) per week and the training session lasted for (120 minutes) .data collection, for dependent variables were collect according to the following, estimate positions(classic jerk without weight 20s – power jerk without weight 20s – perb test) and for effectiveness of jerk (jerk 100%rm)
Conclusions: The Stretching Resistance Method training program which was applied on the experimental group developed both of estimate positions and Jerk effectiveness variables for youth Weightlifters. As a result it is recommended to apply the Stretching Resistance exercises on similar samples.
