The Role of Adventure Tourism as a New Tourist Pattern in Developing the Tourist Attraction of the Arab Republic of Egypt

Abstract

The research aims to identify the role of adventure tourism in developing the tourist attractions in Egypt, The researchers followed the procedures of this research descriptive method using the survey method to complete a suitability of the nature of the research, the research sample is chosen by the intentional method of tourists who hesitated on the tourist destinations in Egypt, employees of the Ministry of Tourism and tourism companies and they number (150) individuals, where the exploratory estimated (30) One person, with a percentage of (20%). The core sample enumerated (120) individuals, with a percentage of (80%). Among the most important results are:
1- The contributions of adventure tourism contribute to satisfying the main motivations of tourists to come to Egypt in the tourist enjoyment of competition and self-affirmation, as well as the love of challenge and adventure, then raise the physical and psychological side.
2- There are requirements for the types of adventures in Egypt and its role in the tourist attractions, Swimming in the shark cage in Hurghada, and diving with the crocodile cage in Lake Nasser, and the discovery of underwater caves in the Red Sea, where feelings adventure in the Red Sea trail and St. Catherine Reserve, as well as climbing the mountains of Majesty Moussa.
3- The potential of sport tourism in Egypt indicates the availability of qualified and nomadic sports cadres to work in the field of adventure tourism, and the sports supervisor enjoyed dealing with different cultural cultures of tourists.
