Effectiveness of a positive physiological support-based program in reducing the future anxiety of the students of the College of Physical Education

Abstract

The research aims to identify the effect of a program based on positive psychological support in reducing future anxiety among students of the Faculty of Physical Education, using the experimental method of experimental design (pre-post measurement) for one group of (24) students of the fourth year at the Faculty of Physical Education, Suez Canal University, it is divided internally into (12) male and (12) female students.
The researcher used the following data collection tools: “The proposed program based on positive psychological support prepared by the researcher, Positive Psychosocial Support Scale prepared by the researcher, Future Anxiety Scale (2005 AD) prepared by Zainab Shuqair, and after finding scientific transactions and processing the data in an appropriate statistical manner, we concluded the most important results as follows:
- There are statistically significant differences between the two means of the pre and post measurements of the research sample in the positive psychological support scale in favor of the post measurement.
- There are statistically significant differences between the two means of the pre and post measurements of the research sample in the measure of future anxiety in favor of the post measurement.
- The proposed program is effective in improving positive psychological support and reducing future anxiety for students of the Faculty of Physical Education
