Abstract

The effect of a training program using A.S.Q training exercises on improving some physical abilities and the level of skill performance of dueling players in the New Valley

Issam Abdel-Khalek (2003 AD) states that modern training programs have taken a form and structure consistent with the new development in methods and means in the training process, which has become one of the goals of physical, skilled, functional, and psychological preparation for players where it has been proven by experience that the use of modern scientific methods in training leads to access to the athlete To the optimal sports form. Mario Jovanovich and et al (2011 CE) indicate that the term S.A.Q is derived from the initials of Speed, Agility, and Quickness. (16: 85)
Research objective:
The research aims to identify the effect of a program to develop physical abilities by using the A.S.Q training exercises and its effect on the level of skill performance of fencing players in the New Valley.
Research hypotheses:
1. There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores for the pre and post measurements in favor of the post measurement in improving some physical abilities (under investigation) in the research sample.
2. There are statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre and post measurements scores in favor of the post measurement in improving the skill level performance (under investigation) in the research sample.
