Perceived Driving Climate and its Relationship to Anxiety of Sports competition and the level of skill performance of handball players

Abstract

This research aims to identify the perceived motivating climate and its relationship to the state of sports competition anxiety and the level of skill performance of handball players, the researcher used the descriptive approach by following the field survey method, due to its suitability of the nature of this study. The community and sample of the research were chosen in a random, stratified way from the players of the joint teams in the second stage matches of the first class league championship for handball (the third group) for the sports season 2018/2019 and registered in the Egyptian Handball Federation the number of the basic research sample reached (55) players
The most important research results :
1- There is a negative correlation between the dimension of the enabling environment and after cognitive and physical anxiety.
2- There is a positive correlation between the dimension of the climate of empowerment and self-confidence.
3- There is a negative correlation between the climate of competition and the distance of self-confidence.
4- There is a positive correlation between the dimension of the climate of competition and the cognitive and physical anxiety.
5- There is a positive correlation between the perceived motivation climate and the level of skill performance in handball.
6- There is a negative correlation between the level of skill performance and after cognitive and physical anxiety, while there is a positive correlation between the level of skill performance and self-confidence.
