Abstract

The research aims to identify the effect of using the five-year learning cycle (5E's) supported by the virtual reality model on the level of performance of some basketball skills among middle school students. The research community included all students of the first grade of middle school at Al-Moshir Preparatory School and affiliated to the Al-Haram Educational Administration, of which (70) students are enrolled in the records for the 2019/2020 academic year. For the academic year 2019/2020 AD, whose strength is (65) students as a basic sample distributed evenly into two groups, one experimental and the other controlling, according to the classification of (25) students for each group, and a sample of (15) students was chosen as an exploratory legal sample to control some of the selected variables "under discussion. "From the research community and outside the basic research sample, the most important conclusions were the effectiveness of the proposed program using The five-year learning course supported by the virtual reality model contributed effectively to learning basketball skills "under discussion" prescribed for first-grade middle school pupils. The most important recommendations were also the importance of training physical education teachers on how to use the five-year learning course supported by the virtual reality model and how to use it in teaching Motor skills in general and basketball skills in particular.
