Effectiveness of an educational program using Auditory and motor rhythm in developing front crawl swimming skill level for students at faculty of physical education for girls in Alexandria

Abstract

This research aimed at developing educational program using Auditory and motor rhythm to develop front crawl swimming skill level for students at grade one, faculty of physical education for girls in Alexandria and find its effect on this swimming skill level .
Research sample consisted of (20) students for main study and (20) students for pilot study.
Experimental approach with pre-post measurements adopted as it suits study nature.
Physical skill tests, Front crawl swimming skill level evaluation sheet used as data collection tools
Most important results indicate that using Timpo-trainer as auditory rhythm had positive effect on learning front crawl swimming, as well as using Vasa as motor rhythm had positive effect on learning body position, legs kicks, arm strokes and breathing. Integration between the two equipment led to fast learning and good performance in posy measurements
Researcher recommend using the suggested program using Vasa and Timpo-trainer equipment in learning different swimming types and for different categories.
