The competitive orientation of Biathle swimmers under 17 years old and its relationship to the attribution style

Abstract

research aims to recognize : -
1.The differences in competitive orientation and attribution style of Biathle athletes under 17 years of age according to gender (male – female)
2.The relationship between competitive orientation and internal and external, and the total attribution style for the Biathle athletes under 17 years old (male – female)
Study methodology:
The researcher used the descriptive approach to suit its suitability to the nature of the research.
The sample was selected randomly from the male and female swimmers of Biathle sports under 17 years old
Conclusions :-
1.There are no statistically significant differences between male and female players in the averages of the total attribution method and competitiveness orientation - goal orientation.
2. There is an inverse correlation that is statistically significant for Biathle swimmers between the total attribution method and the goal orientation, between external control and competitiveness orientation - goal orientation.
Recommendations: -
1.The coaches ’interest in identifying the attribution style of the biathlon players and knowing their beliefs towards the causes of good or bad performance
2.Conducting more studies that are concerned to study all aspects of the Biathle in terms of physical, skills , psychological and mental
3.Providing a psychological counseling or mental coach or sport psychologist for biathlon athletes.
4.Conducting comparative studies of the method of attribution among different groups of practitioners of biathle. taking care of players during poor performance and confirm the role of the psychological equipment in the meantime.
