The purpose of this study is to identify the effectiveness of functional strength training on muscle capacity ,static and kinetic balance and the level of performance of some jumps in balle ( glissad ,emehappet ,pas de chat , changement ).The researcher used bass test to mesure kinetic balance ,the vertical jump test to mesure muscle capacity , and standing on the instep to mesure static balance .The research sample was the students of the second year of fucalty of physical education for girls . The experimental design was adapted in this study using one experimental group ( n =32 ) students applied the functional strength training ,and the control group (n =30 ) students applied the normal training programme rotine . The duration of the program were (8) weeks with three training units per week The duration of each unit within the programe was (70) minutes .results demonstrated the positive effect of the programme on physical and skilful level
