Abstract

Cerebral control is one of the topics dealt with by neuropsychology through research and study, and numerous scientific studies have linked the cerebral control with other variables, and Ibrahim Abu Hamid adds that cerebral control reflects and determines the specific functions of each hemisphere of the brain, as both the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere are from The brain is specialized to perform a separate and integrated function at the same time
By informing the researcher of the scientific references and studies related to cerebral control, he found that it has a special importance as it leads to some physical and skill changes that would improve the level of athletic performance and within the limits of the researcher's knowledge there was not enough interest in many taekwondo trainers in developing training programs that It included exercises to develop the brain control of Taekwondo players in addition to paying attention to the physical, skill and planning aspects only.
Hence, the researcher tries to know "the effect of a training program on improving the motor abilities and performance level of the side kick skill (Yip Chagi) for Taekwondo players in light of the different types of brain control," since within her knowledge there are no studies in Taekwondo that dealt with this topic.
