The effectiveness of positive thinking as a strategy on psychological resilience and the level of performance of the front somersault skill on the jump table

Abstract

The research aims to identify the effectiveness of positive thinking as a strategy on psychological resilience and performance level of handspring skill on vaulting horse. The two researchers used the experimental approach by using two groups one of them is experimental group and the other is control group with pre and post measurements. The sample was selected by intentional way of female students in the fourth year of specialization gymnastics, Faculty of Physical Education for Girls, Zagazig University. The two researchers used tools for measuring growth variables, positive thinking questionnaire and psychological resilience questionnaire. The most important results of the research indicated that the positive thinking has positively effects on the psychological resilience and the performance level of handspring skill on vaulting horse. The two researchers recommend that applying the proposed program of positive thinking strategy due to the positive and effective contribution in developing the psychological resilience and the performance level of handspring skill on vaulting horse.
