Abstract

The research aims to study the effect of interval training with a modified velocity on the development of some physical and physiological variables for the 1500 meter contestants. The researchers used the experimental method for its relevance to the type and nature of this research, through the experimental design of the one experimental group using the pre and post measurement of the variables under study, a sample was selected The research is deliberate method from the 1500 meter juniors registered in the Sharkia region and registered in the Egyptian Athletics Federation for the 2019/2020 season, and they are training in Kafr Saqr Sports Club. The total number of the research sample is (13) contestants, and the researcher selected (5) contestants randomly for the pilot study from a community Research and outside the basic research sample, and thus the basic research sample became (8) contestants, and the researcher used physical and physiological measurements as a means to collect data, and the most important results were the effect of the training program using the modified speed training period on the development of some physical and physiological variables for the 1500 meter contestants, and the most important recommendations were the use of Interval training at speed adjusted in the development of some variables of the body Physiological and physiological responses for athletes in various sports activities and for different age stages during different season periods to identify the functional and biochemical responses to aerobic training.
