Abstract

The research aims to build a measure of psychological competency indicators for short distance runners, to identify the relationship of some psychological competency indicators to the digital level of short distance runners (100 m, 200 m, 400 m) and to identify the percentage of psychological competency indicators' contribution to the digital level for short distance runners (100 m, 200 m, 400 m). ), They were chosen randomly from the short-distance contestants and their number reached (132) players. The researcher used the psychological competency indicators scale for the short distance contestants. (Prepared by the researcher), and the results reached a correlation between the psychological efficiency indicators and the digital level of the short distance runners. Equations were also reached to predict the digital level with the knowledge of the psychological competency indicators for short distance runners. The researcher recommends that the trainers should develop training programs to develop psychological competency indicators for distance runners. To improve the level of digital achievement they have in line with their physical abilities and psychological aptitudes, and to employ the predictive equations that have been reached to predict the digital level with the knowledge of indicators of psychological competence of short distance runners, and to emphasize the importance of the presence of a psychologist who applies psychological and rehabilitation programs to raise the psychological competence of athletes as In general, and short-distance runners in particular, to ensure the highest achievement rates in the skillful and digital level of the field and track racers.
