The effect of a sports-recreational program on the feeling of psychological happiness and psychosocial adaptation of the children of orphan care centers in the el Sharkia governorate

Abstract

The research aims to develop a proposed sports recreation program for orphan children that includes a set of recreational sports activities and to know the effect of this on the feeling of psychological happiness and the psychosocial adaptation of orphan children, the researcher used the approach Experimental due to its suitability to the nature of the research, and the one-group experimental design was used using pre-post measurement. The research community includes orphans in the "Boys and Girls" orphanage of Social Affairs in Sharkia governorate attached to the Shuhada Complex School in Sharkia, where the total research community reached (23) orphans and orphans. , The researcher selected a deliberate sample of (12) orphan children between (9-11) years old, in addition to (10) orphan children as an exploratory sample for the tests technicians under investigation, and (1) children were excluded due to their pathological conditions. Within the limits of the objectives and hypotheses of the research and the findings of the researcher, the following was concluded: The proposed sports recreational program has an impact on A statistically significant response at the level of (0.05) on the feeling of psychological happiness in the social care role in the Sharkia governorate. The proposed sports recreational program has a statistically significant positive effect at the level of (0.05) on the psychosocial adaptation of the social care homes in the Sharkia governorate. The main research sample in feeling psychological happiness was (16.18%).
