Abstract

The study aimed to design a program to develop the cognitive achievement of the teaching technology course using active learning based on self-learning programmed by students of the Faculty of Sports Education. The research group was limited to a sample of (20) third female students (Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods) at the Faculty of Sports Education - Al Azhar University in the first semester of the academic year 2020/2021. The students are divided equally into two groups: one group consists of (10) female students (experimental), and the other is of an officer of (10) (10) Taliban. Scientific transactions were conducted on (10) students as a reconnaissance group from the research community and outside the basic research sample ; the experimental method was used to suit the nature of the research, and the purpose was used to collect data: electronic mental ability test, cognitive achievement test. To enumerate, the results of the research reached the superiority of the experimental group that used programmed self-learning over the control group that used the traditional method, indicating the effectiveness of programmed self-learning and its impact on the development of the cognitive achievement of female students research sample. The results proved some important facts: The need to work workshops for faculty members and their assistants on how to benefit from programmed self-learning and how to produce it to teach their courses to keep up with developments in the educational process.
