Abstract

The research aimed to identify the following:
1-The level of anxiety that anticipates the sporting future of team sports players (handball - football - basketball - volleyball) in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.
2-The differences in the level of anxiety predicting the sporting future of players in team sports (handball - football - basketball - volleyball) in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The researcher used the descriptive method by following the survey method on a sample of (80) players from team sports by (20) players from a team sport, from the research tools: a measure of anxiety anticipating the future of sports .
Among the most important results :
1-Team sports players (handball - football - basketball - volleyball) are characterized in light of the Coronavirus pandemic with a high level of anxiety predicting the sporting future in its three dimensions (characteristics of the athlete's personality - the sports environment - the outcome of competition. )
2-Football players have a high level of anxiety in anticipating the sporting future compared to players in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.
3-There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between team sports players in the level of concern for the sporting future in light of the Coronavirus pandemic for the benefit of football players.
Among the most important recommendations:
1-Establishing indicative programs to reduce the state of anxiety that anticipates the future of sports for team sports players in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.
