The relationship of psychological fluency, motivation to sport achievement and competitive behavior among Taekwondo players

Abstract

انThe desire to win competitions increases with the increase in age and the reward and fame are suitable for males more than the furniture, just as the cultural level of the family or country and the customs and traditions that govern it all affect the competitive behavior of the players. As for personal traits, each player has his own characteristics that distinguish their behavior.
The research aims to identify the relationship of psychological fluency, motivation for athletic achievement and competitive behavior of Taekwondo players.
Research methodology: The researcher used the descriptive method for its relevance to the nature of the research.
Research sample: 50 female athletes of the 17-year-old age.
Conclusions:
Within the limits of the research problem and its importance and in light of its objective, assumptions and the nature of the sample, and within the framework of statistical treatments and the interpretation and discussion of the results, the researcher reached the following conclusions:
The correlation between psychological fluency and achievement motivation variables (motivation to achieve success - motivation to avoid failure - overall motivation) and competitive behavior
There is a positive correlation with significant significant between psychological fluency and motivation for achieving success among Taekwondo players.
There is a negative non-significant correlation between psychological fluency and failure-avoidance motivation for Taekwondo players.
There is a positive non-significant correlation relationship between psychological fluency and overall motivation among Taekwondo players.
There is a negative, non-significant correlation between psychological fluency and competitive behavior among Taekwondo players.
