The Effect of Using Specific Exercises of Muscular Endurance to Improve Some Basic Handball Skills.

Abstract

Abstract
The research aims at identifying the effect of using specific exercises on the skillful physical variables in handball. The researcher uses the empirical approach: the empirical design of one empirical group. A (former – latter) measurement has been made as it suits the nature of the research. The main study sample is selected intentionally. They are twenty male handball students in the fourth year of the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Al-Azhar University and outside the main sample to conduct exploratory studies and scientific treatments of the exercises under study.
The researcher has made a training program to apply the suggested exercises during the 9-week training program. It consists of twenty seven training units that were applied to the research sample in the handball court in Al-Azhar University.
The research shows:
- the suggested training program, using specific exercises of muscular endurance, improves some basic offensive skills (passing and receiving - shooting with high jump - bouncing) for handball players.
- the suggested training program, using specific exercises of muscular endurance, improves some basic defensive skills (defensive movements - defensive wall) for handball players.
