Abstract

Introduction: The training of blood flow restriction is one of the most important modern training strategies, which is the process of restricting the moderate blood flow returning from the muscles to the heart in the veins, through air ligaments that have been calibrated to adjust the value of the venous pressure. Also, blood flow restriction exercises result in rapid fiber recruitment even if the intensity is low, so it is expected that more fatigue will appear during blood flow restriction aim: to identify the effect of blood flow restriction exercise for elderly women o muscle strength variables represented in hand grip left, hand grip right, back and leg muscles, also body composition variables represented in BMI, fat%, muscles %, water%. methodology: one experimental group for (10 elderly women) age between ( 55:60 yr)in Ahly club.Result: there are statistically significant differences between before and after measurements in hand grip left, hand grip right, back and leg muscles, also body composition variables represented in BMI, fat%, muscles %, water% for after measurement ranged between (6%-14%)and (3%-5%).Conclusion: the blood flow restriction exercises led to an improvement in muscle strength and body composition for elderly women for after measurements.
