The effect of a program of recreational games in the outdoors on the development of social interaction and spatial ability of children on the autism spectrum

Abstract

The aim of the research is to design a program of recreational games in the outdoor and to identify its impact on the development of social interaction and spatial ability among children of the autism spectrum. years, and the researcher selected the research sample from the children of the Kayan Association for People with Disabilities in Minya who attended the Training Center for Autistic Children under the slogan "We Unite for Them" of the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Minya Governorate, whose number is (27) twenty-seven children, and the number (17) A child by the intentional method to be the experimental group, and an exploratory group of (10) ten children, In all the data, the researcher used the Gilliam scale for diagnosing autism, the intelligence scale of "Stanford Binet" fifth edition, the social interaction scale "prepared by: Adel Abdullah 2008", the scale of spatial ability "prepared by: the researcher", and one of the most important results was the program based on the use of recreational games Being outdoors has a significant positive effect on the development of social interaction and spatial ability in children with autism spectrum.
