A proposed vision for distributing the revenues of TV broadcasting rights in the Egyptian football competitions

Abstract

The current research aims to develop a proposed vision for the distribution of broadcasting rights revenues in Egyptian football competitions, and the researcher used the descriptive survey method. The research was carried out in a random way from the research community. The basic research sample consisted of (270 individuals) working in (the National Media Authority, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Consumer Protection Agency, the Egyptian Football Association, sports clubs, broadcasting organizations, advertising agencies), and the exploratory sample consisted of 40 individuals from outside the basic research sample, and the most important results were the need to change the methods of selling television broadcasting rights and conduct feasibility studies within clubs to identify the best methods for selling these rights, and the distribution of broadcasting rights revenues is not done through the use of the expertise of European leagues, also there is no A specific timetable in which the clubs receive their dues from the revenues of broadcasting rights, and the broadcasting rights for the product (league - cup - super - League Cup) are not professionally marketed externally, as is clear from the role of the state For example, A company must be established in which all clubs participate with the federation to handle the sale and marketing of broadcasting rights under the supervision of the state.
