Abstract

And in the light of the directives of the political leadership, by following modern methods to achieve the best possible use of the state’s resources in an investment style and thought, as well as in light of the global changes in the sports field during the past years and its transformation into a productive sector that contributes directly to the national income, and in the light of Egypt’s vision 2030 AD, The President of the Republic issued Decree No. 223 of 2018 AD regarding the establishment of the General Authority for the Cairo Sports Stadium, which stipulated the establishment of an economic public authority called “The General Authority for Cairo Sports Stadium”, and it shall have a public legal personality, and its headquarters shall be in the Cairo Governorate, and it may establish branches within the country It reports to the Minister of Youth and Sports, and the authority aims to achieve optimal utilization of the sports stadium area and develop it in a civilized manner to be an integrated sports, service and entertainment area.
And through the work of the researcher as deputy director of the equestrian stadium in the General Authority of the Cairo Sports Stadium, which is one of the
Eleven sites, I noticed a low actual occupancy rate for sports facilities, reaching 30%, according to Rabab Ahmed (2016), which is a low percentage compared to the available capabilities and the distinguished location of the authority.
