Building a proposed cognitive achievement test for cognitive aspects of some basketball skills for middle school students

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to design a proposed cognitive test of the cognitive aspects of basketball skills (pectoral pass, interviewer, free throw) for middle school pupils.
. Based on the objectives and questions of the research, the researcher used the descriptive curriculum to fit it to achieve the goal of the research and its suitability to the nature of its procedures. The research community included female pupils in the preparatory cycle. (second grade preparatory), numbering 462 pupils. A random sample of pupils was selected. (Second Grade) Girls' Preparatory School for the school year 2022/2023 (20) pupils from the original community 2021/2022 and the original sample of the test rationing was their number (20) pupils by a percentage of 4.6% .
Through the results, the occasion of the cognitive test prepared to measure the basketball skills of pupils' levels is demonstrated in terms of the ease of answering questions and also its ability to distinguish between different levels of schoolgirls, i.e., it takes into account individual differences in the process of acquiring knowledge and information on the basketball skills in question, indicating the accuracy of the questions, The most important recommendations are the importance of designing cognitive tests to measure the cognitive aspects associated with the skills of different sporting activities and basketball in particular .
