Abstract

The researcher conducted a study aimed at identifying the relationship of relative muscular strength to body weight and the level of skill performance on Uneven Bars. The research relied on a descriptive approach. The study was conducted on a deliberate sample of female students specializing in artistic gymnastics training for the academic year 2022/2023 at the College of Physical Education, Gezira ( Girls) - Sports Training Division, numbering (16). Measurements of relative muscle strength were taken with weight training equipment and the level of skill performance by a jury, and measurements of relative strength represented in (the strength of the right and left grip, the flexor and flexor muscles of the arms, the flexor and flexor muscles of the legs), were taken. The most important results of the research indicated the existence of an inverse relationship. There is a positive relationship between measurements of relative muscle strength and weight with the degree of skill performance, and there is a negative relationship between measurements of relative strength and the level of skill performance on Uneven Bars . Therefore, the researcher recommended the necessity of developing programs for preparation for Uneven Bars using rated weights
