Abstract

Physical education is considered an educational system in which the individual is educated through practicing physical activity
The maximum oxygen consumption is the ability of a person to perform muscular work based on the consumption of oxygen directly during work, and it is considered an indicator of many physiological processes.
The research aims to know the extent of the effect of the program used on the maximum oxygen consumption, as well as to know its effect on some elements of physical fitness.
The research population consists of third-year middle school female students, and the experimental method was used for one group
The research sample was chosen by a random, intentional method from female students in the third year of middle school. The sample size was 15 female students for the experimental group and 10 exploratory female students from the Martyr Rami Al-Jahjahini School.

In light of the research objective and hypotheses, and within the framework of the sample and methodology used, and through the statistical treatment used, the researcher reached the following results:
1- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pre- and post-measurements in the maximum oxygen consumption
2- There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the pre and post measurements in some elements of physical fitness (flexibility - agility - speed).
Therefore, the program used under study has a positive effect on the maximum oxygen consumption and some elements of physical fitness
