The effect of employing motor games in developing some basic motor skills and distinguishing between letters that are similar in different forms of pronunciation among students of the School of Intellectual Education

Abstract

This study aims to verify the effectiveness of the kinetic games program in the development of some basic motor skills and distinguish between letters similar form of different pronunciation of the students of the School of Intellectual Education, and the researcher has used the experimental approach due to its suitability to the nature of the research, the researcher has used one of the experimental designs, which is the experimental design of one experimental group by applying the pre- and post-measurements of the group, is the fourth grade students of the School of Intellectual Education, affiliated to the East Kafr El-Sheikh Educational Administration and the Directorate of Education Kafr El-Sheikh Educational - affiliated to Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, and their number is (12) students and enrolled in the school records for the academic year (2023/2024), and the researcher selected the research sample in a deliberate way, and the number of sample members reached (12) students by 100% of the original community of the sample (experimental group), where the educational program was applied using kinetic games, The most important results were the use of the motor games program on intellectual education students (mentally handicapped) had a positive impact on the development of basic motor skills (under research), in addition to the use of motor games program on intellectual education students (mentally handicapped) had an impact on distinguishing between letters similar in different form of pronunciation.
