The The current research aims to develop a cognitive achievement test for some basketball skills for fifth-grade students in the State of Kuwait. The researcher used the descriptive method with a survey study approach due to its suitability for achieving the research objective and its appropriateness for the nature of its procedures. The research population included all fifth-grade students in the State of Kuwait, totaling (51) students in three classes at the school. A purposive sample of (20) twenty students was selected, representing (39.22%) of Al-Shaya'a Elementary School for Boys in Al-Shamiya District, State of Kuwait, for the academic year 2023/2024, first semester. The most important data collection tools included test questions to measure the cognitive level of some basketball skills for students and to determine the test time, which was (10) ten minutes. One of the most important results is that the cognitive achievement test is valid for use with fifth-grade students in the State of Kuwait for some basketball skills.
