Abstract

The current research aims to identify the extent of the effect of using the Needham constructive model in learning some ballet skills and developing high-order thinking for third-year female students at the Faculty of Physical Education - Minia University. The researcher used the experimental method to suit the current research by using the experimental design for two groups, one experimental and the other control, and by following the pre- and post-measurements for both groups. The research community included third-year female students for the academic year (2023/2024) at the Faculty of Physical Education, Minia University, numbering (395) female students. A random sample of (30) female students was selected from the research community, representing a percentage of (7.59%) of the research community. The researcher divided them into two equal and equivalent groups, each consisting of (15) female students, one of which is experimental The experimental group, on which the Needham model is applied, and the control group, on which the method followed is applied, which is the explanation and performance of the model. The most important results indicated that the proposed program using the Needham constructive model contributed in a positive way to improving the performance of ballet skills and the scale of high-order thinking under study for the students of the experimental group. The researcher recommends the necessity of using the proposed program based on the Needham constructive model to clarify the foundations of self-learning among learners, which has its importance in the educational process.
