The health profile from the point of view of health implications for physical education scholars in Greater Cairo Governorate

Abstract

Research summary: The research aimed to identify the level of physical education teachers’ awareness of the health implications of physical growth variables and interest in health and physical care by creating a health profile for them because this will reflect positively on their level of health fitness and thus there will be an improvement in all aspects and thus an improvement in the level of performance. All of this prompted the researcher to conduct this study. The researcher used the descriptive approach. The research population represented some physical education teachers in the age group between (30 and 40) years. The total number of the sample was (250) female teachers, and the basic research sample was chosen (200). A teacher. The researcher also conducted a standardization of the questionnaire on a sample of (50), representing 20% ​​of the size of the research population, who were from outside the basic sample of the research, and the results resulted in:
1- The level of physical education teachers’ awareness of physiological variables (respiratory cyclic endurance, resting pulse rate, post-exertion pulse rate, blood pressure, systolic and diastolic blood pressure) came in varying degrees.
2- The level of awareness of 7 physical education teachers about body components (body mass, water, protein, minerals, fat mass), metabolic rate, fat percentage, muscle mass.
