Psychological pollution and its relationship to academic procrastination among female students of the Faculty of Physical Education Helwan University

Abstract

The research aims to identify the relationship of psychological pollution to academic procrastination for female students of the Faculty of Physical Education, Helwan University, whose ages range between (19-22 years). The descriptive approach was used with its steps and procedures to suit the nature of the research, and the research population was chosen from the female students of the four teams in the Faculty of Physical Education. For girls, Helwan University for the academic year (2023/2024 AD) , Their ages range between (19 - 22 years) and their strength is (2020) female students, with (325) female students for the first year, (615) female students for the second year, (276) female students for the third year, (804) female students for the fourth year, and the research sample was chosen. In a random manner, the number of students was (360) students from the four teams at Helwan University, with a total of (60) female students As an exploratory sample for the purpose of calculating the scientific coefficients of the scale, the basic research sample consisted of (300) female students from the four groups, (30) female students from the first year, (50) female students from the second year, (100) female students from the third year, (120) female students from In the fourth group, the results showed a direct, statistically significant correlation between the axes of the psychological pollution scale and the total score of academic procrastination, as well as the total score of psychological pollution and the total score of academic procrastination.
