" The effect of sliding discs on the effectiveness of the physical abilities of the skill of Baek Chagi for Kyorogi Taekwondo players "

Abstract:

The Effect of Gliding Discs on the Physical Abilities Influencing the Performance of the "Bik Chagi" Skill Among Taekwondo Kyrougi Players (Aged 11-14) at Modern Sport Academy in Giza

The researcher used the experimental method with pre- and post-testing to match the nature of the study. The sample was selected intentionally from Taekwondo Kyrougi players at Modern Sport Academy in Giza, who are registered with the Egyptian Taekwondo Federation. The total number of players was 40, with 30 players forming the experimental sample and 10 players for the exploratory sample.

The training program lasted for two months and 8 days, totaling 9 weeks and one day. It included 28 training units.

The main findings revealed that the Gliding Disc Training had a positive impact on some Taekwondo skills, including Bik Chagi, Aptolio Chagi, Nara Chagi, and Punch in Taekwondo.

The main recommendation is to incorporate Gliding Disc Training into the training programs, as it has a significant impact on various skill-related variables in Taekwondo.
