Abstract

The research aims to identify the relationship between mental alertness and psychological prosperity among outstanding students in sports at the Faculty of Physical Education, Al-Azhar University, also to identify the degree of mental alertness and psychological prosperity among outstanding students in sports at the Faculty of Physical Education, Al-Azhar University. The researcher used the descriptive method. The members of the exploratory and basic research sample were selected randomly due to its suitability to the nature of the research of his research, as 135 students were excluded due to the conditions and specifications for selecting the research sample and sufficing with 230 students) (and thus the exploratory sample consisted of 60 students to calculate the scientific coefficien the basic sample consisted of 170 students, the researcher used the following tools (Mental alertness scale - Psychological prosperity scale) designed by the researcher, and the most important Results: The level of mental alertness was high for the dimension of acting consciously, an average level for the dimensions of acceptance without judgment, observation, description, respectively, and in the scale as a whole. The level of mental alertness among the groups (first, second, third, fourth) The level of psychological prosperity was high for each of the dimensions of positive feelings and achievement. It was average for each of the dimensions of the meaning of life, positive relationships, and psychological integration, respectively, and in the scale as a whole. The level of psychological prosperity among the first group was average, the groups (second, third, fourth)
