Abstract

Using water plyometric training is one of the effective methods for developing muscle strength and improving some rescue swimming skills. These trainings aim to activate muscles and increase their strength by performing fast and strong movements underwater, which enhances the body's ability to endure and react to emergency situations while swimming. When applying these exercises, water resistance is exploited, which increases the effectiveness of the exercise compared to training on land. This helps improve speed and muscle strength, which positively reflects on the swimmers' ability to perform rescue tasks more efficiently. Water plyometric also contributes to reducing injuries due to the lower shock effects on the joints compared to traditional exercises. Therefore, this type of training is ideal for rescuers seeking to enhance their muscle and technical abilities to swim safely and effectively
