An Analytical Study on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Psychological, Social, and Ethical Aspects from the Perspective of Athletes, Coaches, and Psychologists

Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the psychological, social, and ethical aspects of athletes from the perspectives of players, coaches, and psychologists.

Methodology: A descriptive analytical approach was employed, using a questionnaire administered to a sample of 62 individuals (31 athletes, 19 coaches, and 12 psychologists).

Results: The findings revealed positive effects, such as enhanced performance through motivating goals (70.7%), and negative effects, including increased anxiety (73.8%) and weakened social cohesion (66.1%). Ethical concerns were also identified, such as data bias (55.3%) and privacy violations (47.6%).

Conclusions: The study emphasizes the need for a balanced approach that integrates the efficiency of artificial intelligence with the protection of human aspects, while promoting transparency and fairness in technological applications.

Recommendations:Design AI tools that enhance communication between athletes and coaches, such as collaborative platforms, instead of replacing human dialogue. Develop AI systems that provide encouraging feedback rather than critical comments, and integrate mechanisms for early detection of signs of fatigue or depression.
