Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of training using sliding discs on the level of some physical variables (leg strength - arm strength - motor speed - agility - general coordination - motor balance). The researcher used the experimental method, using one of the experimental designs, which is the single-group experimental design, using the pre-, inter- and post-measurement method، The primary research sample was chosen intentionally from volleyball players at the Sharkia Tobacco Club under 17 years old. The primary research sample included 20 players and another survey sample numbering (16) players from the Zamalek Club from the same research community and outside the sample limits. To collect data, references and previous studies were used. Expert opinion poll form, personal interview, player data collection and analysis form, equipment and tools, physical tests. One of the most important results reached by the research is the impact of the proposed training program and the extent of the effectiveness of this program, which was applied during the general physical preparation period until the end of the special physical preparation period, as it included training aimed at improving athletic performance in various aspects, and through it, the physical variables specific to the game can be developed in a way that contributes to the development of physical performance.
