Abstract

Introduction and research problem: The rapid development in achieving higher levels becomes in line with the sciences of sports training and sports performance is linked to other sciences, the most important of which is physiology, as interval training works to increase the efficiency of the circulatory and respiratory system. By reviewing many reference studies, the researcher came to the conclusion that interval training is the choice that works to raise performance and development to reach higher levels. Based on that, the researcher saw the necessity of conducting this study to identify the effect of a proposed high and low intensity program. This research aims to design a high and low intensity program on some physiological and physical variables for female Kung Fu players, to reach higher levels. Based on this, the researcher saw the necessity of carrying out this intensity reduction. The researcher used the experimental approach with the pre- and post-measurement method for one experimental group. The research sample was chosen intentionally from the young Kung Fu players registered with the Federation, dividing them into 15 players for the main experiment and 10 Kung Fu players born in 2011. The most important results were that the training program had a positive impact that led to the improvement of some physiological variables (maximum oxygen consumption - number of breaths per minute) and some physical variables (muscular capacity - and speed endurance).
