Abstract

"The Effect of an Aerobic Training Program on Some Physiological and Physical Variables among Obese Health Club Attendees in Sohag"

This research aims to design an aerobic training program and to identify its impact on both physiological variables ( including heart rate, blood pressure, maximum oxygen consumption (VO₂ max), and body composition ) and physical variables ( which include strength test, endurance test, speed test, and flexibility test) .

The researcher used the experimental method in this study, employing a one-group experimental design, as it is suitable for the nature of the study.

The research sample was selected intentionally, representing a group of women aged between 25 and 35 years. The total sample consisted of 10 women who participated in the main experiment, provided their Body Mass Index (BMI) ranged between 25% and 35%.

The program was designed and implemented in a training hall equipped with all the necessary tools and devices required for the application of the study.

The most important findings indicated that the proposed aerobic training program led to improvements in some of the physiological and physical variables measured during the implementation period of the program.
