Abstract

Abstract:
This study focused on analyzing the roundhouse crescent kick in Taekwondo (Spinkik), considered one of the most prominent kicks in the sport. It aimed to examine the technical aspects of this kick and explore its relationship with certain biomechanical variables during execution. The researchers employed a descriptive survey methodology with a sample of 8 youth players from the Baghdad Taekwondo team. The results revealed that the roundhouse crescent kick (Spinkik) significantly contributes to winning by scoring high points and impacting opponents due to its power and performance nature
Recommendations:
1.    Focus on training programs to enhance the speed of young players through various exercises.
2.    Adopt specialized exercises to improve kicking accuracy
3.    Rely on advanced analysis programs to evaluate players' movement paths and obtain precise results.
4.    Enhance control over the center of gravity during movement to execute various techniques optimally.
