Research Abstract in Arabic

The research aimed to identify the nutritional culture of parents of primary school students and its relationship to their children's obesity. This was achieved by designing a questionnaire to measure the nutritional culture of parents of primary school students, and to determine the relationship between the nutritional culture of parents of primary school students and their children's obesity. The researcher used the descriptive approach with its steps and procedures to suit the nature of the research objectives and questions. The research sample was intentionally selected and consisted of (65) parents of obese primary school students at Zoser Private School, affiliated with the Salam Educational Administration in Cairo Governorate. The most important results were the lack of nutritional culture among parents of primary school students. Primary school students with obesity, the lack of obesity education among parents, and a positive correlation between the nutritional education level of parents and their children's obesity.
