Abstract

The title of the study is "An Analytical Study of Recreational Programs in Basic Education Schools in Damietta Governorate" with the aim of identifying the recreational programs, activities and services provided in basic education schools in Damietta Governorate. The researcher used the descriptive approach in the study. The sample of the exploratory study amounted to (42) individuals from the sixth cycle of basic education students, parents and school principals, the research sample (233) for the basic sample. The researcher used document analysis, personal interviews, and a questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. One of the most important results of the study was the most important objectives of recreational programs in basic education schools in Damietta Governorate, which is achieving a sense of personal happiness through practicing various activities. The most practiced recreational activities are (athletics, volleyball), artistic activities (calligraphy), social activities (trips), cultural activities (reading and browsing), outdoor activities (camps). Security and safety factors when implementing various programs are considered among the most important methods and ways of implementing recreational programs in basic education schools in Damietta Governorate. There are specialists specialized in various activities. The school has an electronic system for registering for programs. Recreational, lack of special tools, halls and equipment to implement programs for people with special needs, lack of use of email and modern means of communication and information transfer, There are statistically significant differences between the research sample members on the questionnaire axes in favor of officials.
