The effect of using the Insanity training on some physical abilities and the digital level of 50m freestyle swimmers

Abstract

The researcher conducted a study aimed at identifying (“The effect of using Insanity training on some physical abilities and the digital level of 50m freestyle swimmers”). The researcher used the experimental method by following the experimental design with a pre-post measurement for an experimental group and a control group, in order to suit the nature of the research. The research sample included (30) male junior swimmers at the Marseille Club in Mit Ghamr, registered at the Zagazig University Workers Club and registered with the Egyptian Swimming Federation for the academic year 2024/2025 AD. The duration of the program’s implementation lasted (8) weeks, with (3) training units per week. The results of this study showed that the proposed program using Insanity training led to an improvement in the physical variables under investigation, and also led to raising the digital level of juniors. The traditional program followed had a slight effect in improving some physical abilities and the digital level of 50m freestyle (under investigation) for the control group. The researcher recommended the need to conduct more research and studies using Insanity training in other swimming. 2. Implementing the steps for implementing the proposed training program at different age levels, and holding training courses and seminars for swimming coaches on the importance of training innovations and how to use them.
