Abstract

In light of the rapid technological developments and the Ministry of Youth and Sports' reliance on digital means in providing its services and programs, the need to strengthen the cybersecurity system to protect data, information and systems from cyber threats emerges. The research aims to establish a cybersecurity department within the organizational structure of the Ministry of Youth and Sports The researcher used the descriptive approach (survey method) to suit the nature of the research. The research community included (33) individuals distributed as follows: (11) individuals from the Minister’s Office, (16) individuals from the Information Center, Electronic Linking and Digital Transformation Offices, and (6) from the Sports Crisis and Disaster Management Unit. The most important results were the development of a vision, mission, and objectives for the Cyber Security Department

Determining each of (administrative levels, job description, means of communication and evaluation). Among the most important recommendations is the necessity of establishing a cybersecurity department within the organizational structure of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, including the department as a general department affiliated with the Risk and Crisis Management Department, and the necessity of providing material and human capabilities in accordance with the proposed job description cards...
