Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effectiveness of an interactive learning environment supported by artificial intelligence (ChatGPT) and its impact on developing cognitive achievement and academic ambition among second-level students in the Master's program in the course "Teaching Technology in Physical Education (M.T.T. 614)" at the Faculty of Sport Sciences. The researcher employed a quasi-experimental design with a one-group experimental design using pre- and post-test measurements. The research sample consisted of students from the Department of Curriculum and Methods of Teaching Physical Education at the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Al-Azhar University, who were enrolled in the course "Teaching Technology in Physical Education (M.T.T. 614)", totaling 15 male and female students. Additionally, an exploratory sample of 5 students from the research population outside the main sample was used to standardize the research instruments and verify their psychometric properties (validity and reliability) for both the cognitive achievement test and the academic ambition scale. The study results revealed that the interactive environment achieved balanced improvement across all Bloom's cognitive levels, with notable superiority in higher-order levels (comprehension and application), confirming the ability of artificial intelligence to develop higher-order thinking skills rather than mere information memorization. Among the key recommendations: conducting further studies aimed at comparing different types of artificial intelligence tools such as (Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, Gemini) to determine the most effective tool in the educational context.
