Abstract

This study targets women diagnosed with fibromyalgia to improve their quality of life through a structured rehabilitation program combined with massage therapy, while emphasizing adherence to an appropriate dietary plan as an integral part of daily living. Based the researcher’s knowledge, this work isّ amongّ theّ earliest Arabic-language studies to integrate medical and health sciences by employing rehabilitation and massage to enhance quality-of-life outcomes for women with fibromyalgia. The anticipated findings may advance scientific research and open new avenues for studies on recovery methods— particularly massage—in mitigating disease impact and reducing related health complications. The sample comprised 10 women (6 in the main sample and 4 in the pilot sample). Data collection tools included a medical scale, a measuring tape, and a body composition analyzer. The study revealed positive effects on several physical variables, including improved muscular strength of the arms, legs, back, and abdomen, along with enhanced overall muscle function. It also showed improvements in sleep disorders and pain levels among women with fibromyalgia .The researcher recommended applying the proposed massage and functional training programs, raising awareness of their health benefits , and promoting their implementation across relevant institutions.
