The effect of the use of Vartlek trainings on some physical variables, section times and the race of 800 m / run

Abstract

This research aims to develop a proposed training program using Fartelike drills and to know its effect on the times of sections and the numerical level of competitors of 800 m / g. The researcher used the experimental method by designing the pre and post measurements of one experimental group due to its suitability to the nature of this research. The research sample was chosen intentionally by the total community for the research, which numbered (14) students, specializing in athletics in the second year of high school at the Sports Secondary School in Zagazig for the academic year 2015/2016 AD. In addition to (5) other students of the exploratory experience from the same research community, the conclusions: The proposed program using Fartelike exercises had a positive effect with a statistical indication on the physical variables under study (speed, speed tolerance, leg muscle strength, back muscle strength) among the individuals of the research sample. The proposed program using Fartelike drills had a positive effect, with a statistical significance, on the times of the 800m / m race segments that were conducted among the individuals in the research sample. The proposed program using Fartelike drills has a positive effect, with a statistical significance, on the digital level of the 800m / m race among the individuals in the research sample.
