Abstract

The research aims at the extent of interest of public school principals in the share of sports education and sports activity in the Jenin Governorate from the point of view of teachers of sports education, and a descriptive, analytical, analytical approach was used for its suitability for this study, on a sample chosen randomly from the indigenous community (130) teachers. The sample consisted of (78) male and female teachers of sports education in government schools in Jenin Governorate, and the researchers used Ahmad questionnaire (2017) for the share of sports education and sports activity after they were subject to validity and stability and after data collection, the statistical packages (SPSS) program was used to analyze the results C, the most important results of the research indicated that there are no statistically significant differences in the extent of the interest of government school principals in the share of sports education and sports activity in Jenin Governorate from the point of view of teachers of sports education due to variables (gender, years of experience, place of residence), and from The most important recommendations are the necessity for the school administration in cooperation with the teacher of sports education, the sports education supervisor and the school health coordinator to educate students about the importance of sports for their bodies. The necessity of placing the sports session in the academic schedule in a way that is commensurate with the nature of the sports session and the athletic activity.
