The role of sports education teachers in achieving educational Amis

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of mathematics teachers in achieving educational goals from the teachers' point of view themselves. The researcher used the descriptive method in the survey method. The study population consists of all teachers of sports education in government schools in Zarqa Governorate in Jordan in the 2016/2017 academic year. The number (185) male and female teachers. The sample of the study consisted of (170) male and female teachers, with a percentage of (0.92) from the study community. A questionnaire was constructed for the aims of the educational process. The questionnaire included (40) phrases distributed on five axes (planning, content, teaching method, teaching aids, evaluation) . The scientific coefficients of the study tool were calculated by calculating the validity of the content and the value of the total stability coefficient was (0.89), the mean was calculated and the standard deviation and (T) test and the One Way ANOVA test to know the differences between the averages and the answer On the study's questions, the study results also showed that the role of athletic education teachers in achieving educational goals was high, and the study also found that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance of α ≤ 0.05 in the arithmetic mean of the axes of educational goals according to the gender variable and in favor of males. Also, there are statistically significant differences at the level of α ≤ 0.05 in the arithmetic mean of the planning axis, the method of teaching and the overall mean of the axes of educational goals according to the variable of experience between those with more than 10 years and less than 5 years experience and for those with more than 10 years of experience. Also, there are statistically significant differences at the level of α ≤ 0.05 in the arithmetic mean for the axis of educational means and content according to the variable of experience between those with more than 10 years and less than 5 years and in favor of those with experience less than 5 years, and the results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences At the significance level of α ≤ 0.05 in the arithmetic mean in the calendar axis according to the variable of experience. Also, there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level of α ≤ 0.05 in the averages of the learning objectives axis according to the academic qualification variable. The researcher recommended the necessity of paying attention to the teacher and the role he plays in achieving educational goals. Likewise, it is necessary to qualify mathematics teachers to achieve educational goals.
