Attitudes of Algerian women towards exercising sports and its relationship to physical self-affirmation

Abstract

The research aims to highlight the importance of exercising physical and sports activities in achieving balanced and integrated education for individuals, especially for women in various aspects of life to reach the development of healthy social trends and its reflection on the affirmation of the physical self, and the descriptive approach was used in both comparative and correlative aspects, according to a sample (90) university students and (90) students from the secondary stage, and the researcher or researchers used a measure of attitudes towards the physical self-affirmation of Muhammad Hassan Allawi, and a questionnaire from the design and technique of Professor Nasseri Muhammad Sharif as tools for measurement, and the most important results of the research indicated that there is a relationship A weak positive correlation between the attitudes of girls towards physical and sports activities and physical self-affirmation. One of the most important recommendations is to focus on the educational aspect of awareness of the importance of physical and sports activities for women in particular by introducing the athletes and their assets and providing opportunities for participation in both sessions. School or university, to discover talent and open a way to change the society's view of women and their ability to achieve achievement.
