Abstract

The research aims to build a scale for common sports injuries in the field and track competitions to identify the description of common sports injuries among female students - the causes of common sports injuries among female students - the differences between the study teams in the causes of injuries - the relationship between the degree of injury and the reasons The occurrence of injuries among female students. researchers used the descriptive approach, the research community is the students of the study teams at the Faculty of Physical Education for Girls in Cairo and they numbered (1518) students, and the sample was chosen intentionally from the students with a course of field and practical track competitions of (66) injured students.
tools: researchers prepared a scale for sports injuries in the field and track competitions course and conducted scientific transactions (honesty and consistency) and then applied it to the basic sample in the academic year 2018-2019
conclusions:
largest percentage of injuries occurred in the third year in the 100m hurdles and high jump competitions.
most common types of injuries were torn ligaments, followed by torn ligaments.
most common injuries to the lower limb.
recommendations:
- Using the sports injuries scale in the field and track competitions decision and taking the results of this research to reduce sports injuries.
- providing an orthopedist and physiotherapist in the college's therapeutic unit.
- Avoid the return of injured students to perform practical lectures only after complete recovery with the approval of the specialist doctor.
