Effect of S.A.Q Exercises on Some Physical Abilities and the Effectiveness of Snatch for Youth Girls Weightlifters

Abstract

Abstract
Research AIM: Identify the Effect of using S.A.Q excess power, agility, quickness and the effectiveness of snatch for youth girl’s weightlifters.
Research Method: The experimental method used with one group design. The study was applied on (9) youth girl’s weightlifters who were chosen by purposive way aged between (15.44 ± 0.95) years. The experimental group included (9) youth girl’s weightlifters. The experimental group underwent the S.A.Q Method training program for (10 weeks) (3 units) per week and the training session lasted for (120 minutes).data collection, the following tests used to collect power data (vertical jump- throwing a disc (5killos)) for agility (perb test) for quickness (falling snatch (15s) – classic clean from pelvic level (15s)) and for snatch effectiveness (classic snatch)
Conclusions: The S.A.Q Method training program which was applied on the experimental group led to improvement power by 32.877%, agility by 28.571%, and quickness by 37.209% and snatch effectiveness by 17.532. As a result it is recommended to applying the S.A.Q exercises in weightlifting training in general and test its effect on similar samples, also testing its effectiveness in other sports field.
